| Air Filters

We have had air filters made by a local manufacturer to
exactly match the original paper filter.
As far as we know these are the only replacement filters available.
Currently there is no K&N filter available for these bikes.
Simply removing your filter is not an option. The particulates in the
air drawn through the engine turn into carbon deposits on the inside of
your engine under the extreme temperatures. As the coke builds up the
performance of the engine slowly degrades.
Made in Italy and now come complete with
strengthening panel as per the last specification from the factory.

| Sprockets

We can supply renthal sprockets in any size from 39 to 46
teeth. Renthal chains are hard anodised for extra durability.
The spline on the gearbox shaft is a weird size, unique to Zane era
laverdas. However we can still supply front sprockets in both original 16T
and reduced 15T. (15T out of stock until April)
Original fitment on most bikes is 16T front and 43T rear, with 750
Formula's using a 42T rear.
If your bike doesnt rev out in
top gear, and wont follow traffic in town easily then an option is to
lower the gearing. The easiest way to do this is to increase the number of
teeth on the rear sprocket by two.

| Oil

We highly recommend Rock Oils products for Laverdas. The
Zane era Laverdas run a wet clutch, and a roller bearing crank. One needs
the oil to be free from friction modifiers, the other needs an oil that
doesnt shear.
Rock Oil, in conjunction with the Laverda race team, have been working
around a semi synthetic 10W/40 called TRM. This has proven to be clutch
slip free on our 750S road bike for the last 7000Km.
The oil has the added advantage of making the bike run a little cooler.
Rock oil can also supply everything from chain lube to brake
fluid.

| Clutch plates, basket, and centres

We have replacement clutches baskets, centres, and plates
for all Zane Laverdas.
The number of plates changed from 7 to 8 during the production run, as
the old 7 plate design was not up to the job.
Hard use can however still break friction plates in all clutches. |
